Privacy

This is a courtesy translation. In case of doubt, the German version applies.

The short version

This site sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, uses no analytics or audience measurement, and loads nothing from third-party servers — not even fonts. There is no contact form, no user account and no social media embedding. That is why there is no consent dialogue either.

Access and server logs

Opening the page processes the technical data without which delivery would not be possible: IP address, date and time of access, the file requested, volume transferred, status of the request, referring page, and browser and operating system identification.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in delivering the site without fault and protecting it against misuse. This data is not combined with other sources and is not evaluated for advertising purposes.

Hosting

The site is delivered by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. Vercel processes the access data described above on my behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Transfers to the United States rely on Vercel's certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, in addition, on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR.

Fonts

The typefaces used here are served from the same server as the site itself. No connection is made to Google Fonts or any other third-party provider.

Contact by email

If you write to me, I process what you send in order to answer your enquiry and any follow-up to it. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract. Mail is received through Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited). Your message is retained for as long as it is needed to deal with the matter, or for as long as statutory retention periods require.
